i just want to add something simple; People have asked me in PM's what MY damage from this is ... ... the answer is; nothing PERSONALLY
However, the collateral damage to some of my users is enough to make me provide a place, a fair place (where you can speak as you see fit/need to) to my users. I, as a board owner/host for over 25 years, have ALWAYS protected my users, be it on MY boards, or boards I help run/admin. I take it personally when something comes in and "damages" any one of my users/friends in any way.
THIS is the intent behind this thread. To let people vent, probe, and "seek therapy" (in the loosest sense) as needed ... So far, it's about 80-90% on cue ... You are all feeling natural, normal emotions when victimized, or when with someone who is/was ... There's 5 parts to recovery ... ANGER is one before ACCEPTANCE; is it not? I'd rather you get angry here, then in someone's "house" who really IS trying to just heal and get to the final stage; ACCEPTANCE ... (Or one who is truly sick, from whatever ailment [or life pressure/tragedy] and is in need of certain, themed avenues of help/recovery/therapy)
I'll tell you all right now, that "Bella" never did anything to me (other than lie, but that's not damaging to me, really), and never solicited anything from me ... ... as such, I never provided anything to her, other than a stage, and I did this without even knowing ... it's ok, TSi is a stage for all; it always has been
I will tell you one thing, however, and this is NOT to defend her, nor her actions .... I've spoken to Melissa 3 or so times myself ... ... one time to help her with her computer, one time 'cause ... well, I forget ... ... and one time where I asked her a person question, and she was just the one available to ask at the time ... she actually gave me good advice that I thought about for a while and she asked nothing in return from me ... however, looking back, I know what she DID get from that ... she got my ATTENTION and maybe, just maybe, a slight ego-boost at not only receiving my attention, but in my even asking something of a personal nature ... I cannot say; however, for that ONE BIT OF ADVICE, I still thank her; no matter who actually gave it to me
Bottom line; be it good or bad, we all have a "memory" of "Bella"; some good, some bad ... ... the bad HIGHLY outweighs the good, however; or so certain evidences seem to obviously dictate ... but, in the name of being objective, and to answer the questions presented to ME, and ONLY ME, I have chosen this particular post to answer
